Photorejuvenation offers a lighter treatment than laser resurfacing using a similar technique. Because the procedure stimulates natural collagen growth, it is suited for fine to moderate wrinkles.

Procedure
Photorejuvenation is a non-surgical procedure conducted in a physician's office without anesthesia. A low energy light beam is emitted against the skin using either infrared or non-infrared lasers or other light sources. Depending on the area being covered, the procedure generally takes from 5 to 30 minutes.

Recovery
Patients return immediately to work following a photorejuvenation procedure. Some redness, blistering or discoloration may occur temporarily but will abate within days.
